Horizons and The Crèche

A friendly atmosphere greets you as you enter the Crèche.  The workers always welcome the children warmly.  The Crèche is a safe, happy and stimulating place for you to leave your children for up to two hours while you have sometime for yourself, perhaps to attend a class or meeting.

You must remain on the Premises.

In the Crèche, your children will learn very important social skills that they will use throughout their lives; like how to get on with other children, role play, sharing, etc.  Your children will also develop better painting and drawing skills they can enjoy their own space and be themselves in an environment that they feel safe in.  Your children will be able to go into the Crèche when they are three months old, and they are allowed to use the facility until they are five years old.

• You will be called if your child needs a nappy change or is unhappy
• Your child will be given fruit and drinks;
• In a fire, Crèche workers are responsible for taking the children outside
• If you have booked a place, and then cannot attend, please let us know in advance - Horizons pays for the Crèche and if there are cancellations, then Horizons can cancel the Crèche.
