The Horizons Project has been running successfully for over 10 years. We have recently expanded our premises at Churchill Court with the addition of another flat, where we are now holding more courses for students. The addition of this much needed space has enabled us to provide a tutor resource room and additional office space.

THE HORIZONS PROJECT’S PHILOSOPHY

We, as an educational project, believe that people know what they need and our aim is to help them achieve it.

We believe that adults of all ages who are interested in learning, have the right to free courses in places that are easy to get to, at times that suit them, and to learn at their own pace.

What is Horizons?

Learning with Horizons can lead to qualifications, including accreditation for University study;
A way back into employment, or a better-paid job;
A good place to start if you need retraining or career advice;
A place where you can meet new people;
A supportive environment for everyone's need;
A great social venue;
Everyone over 16 is welcome - men and women;
We have a free crèche for under 4’s
Horizons is a non-discriminatory, socially-inclusive organization
All courses are free for adults, and there is no upper age limit;
All students are presented with a certificate of achievement in July;
